Jo Penn is a qualified, experienced and award winning garden designer. She takes her inspiration from nature to create imaginative, stylish gardens combining ease of maintenance with an edge of excitement. She loves to incorporate the exuberance and unpredictability of perennial planting contained within a strong framework of structural plants. Her gardens are designed to be lived in: they offer something new every day and provide a strong sense of the changing seasons.
Before becoming a garden designer, Jo ran her own successful business designing and printing high-quality fashion T-shirts for a number of outlets throughout the southwest. Following a break to raise a family, she combined her design skills with her passion for plants and gardens by retraining in garden design at UWIC (University of Wales Institute Cardiff), qualifying with distinction.
Jo's gardens are tailored to each individual client and are based on strong design principles with careful, sympathetic planting. She creates gardens that are practical, stylish and well balanced that can be used and enjoyed all year round.
