This sunny terraced garden was remodelled along with extensive renovations to the Georgian cottage. The original stone walls were dismantled and the stone reused to create a series of retaining walls and enlarged terraces. The garden is divided into two main areas - the lawn surrounded with colourful plant borders and a second area of composite decking with built-in seating; ideal for alfresco dining with views overlooking the village harbour.
Sun loving, drought tolerant plants - Salvias, Euphorbias, Polygala, Agapanthus, Lavenders and herbs thrive in the hot sunny aspect. Fragrant climbing plants smother the painted trellis on the garden boundaries.
