Seafront Garden

A beautiful seafront property in St. Mawes underwent an extensive refurbishment to the house and garden to provide comfortable and stylish family living.

The original garden had become partially overgrown, restricting the wonderful sea views - selective removal and pruning to some of the trees and shrubs opened up the garden to its beautiful coastal outlook.

Tree ferns and mature palms offer exotic structure to the garden whilst an understory of coastal tolerant shrubs and perennials bring colour through the seasons. Agapanthus, hydrangeas, hebes, cistus, euonymus, osteospermum and asters to name a few.

The old garden pond was transformed into an attractive swimming pool. New composite decking provides access from the house to all areas of the garden. A custom-made outdoor kitchen was installed, allowing for relaxed 'al fresco' dining.
